Scope of the role
This Product Design Engineer role is focused on integrating proven technology into customer product ranges at pace and at scale. You’ll take validated concepts and turn them into repeatable, reliable delivery across multiple client projects.
- Integrate validated technology into customer products from scope through to sign-off
- Work with client design and engineering teams on fit, function and manufacturability
- Brief and review work from a China-based CAD engineering team
- Build CAD libraries and reusable integration modules across product ranges
- Support testing, compliance and technical input in customer and commercial meetings
Key skills and experience required
- Proven experience as a Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Development Engineer
- Strong CAD skills and a track record of delivering products into production
- Experience integrating technologies into existing customer product lines
- Comfortable leading technical discussions with clients and external engineering teams
- Knowledge of plastics, injection moulding, foam components and volume manufacturing
Salary and benefits
- Basic salary: €50,000-€55,000
- Bonus of up to one month’s salary after year one
