Scope of the Role
As Senior Product Design Engineer, you’ll lead innovation efforts, uncovering customer needs and transforming insights into commercially viable solutions.
- Conduct EMEA research to identify market opportunities and customer pain points.
- Lead ideation workshops and develop proof-of-concept designs.
- Build robust business cases for proposed innovations.
- Collaborate with global teams to align R&D with market needs.
- Maintain technical involvement through concept-to-industrialisation stages.
Key Skills and Experience Required
We’re looking for a Senior Product Design Engineer with the following background:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Product Design Engineering.
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks essential; Creo desirable).
- Proven experience in user-centred product development.
- Skilled in prototype creation and early technical validation.
- Confident engaging external partners, suppliers, and academic collaborators.
Salary and Benefits
£60,000–£65,000 basic salary.
